The Colour of Magic

Oscar® winner Jeremy Irons will also be appearing in The Colour of Magic in a guest role. Richard Woolfe, Director of Programming for Sky One, commented: “We are delighted that Jeremy Irons will be appearing as a guest star in Sky One’s forthcoming Easter drama The Colour of Magic. In this captivating Terry Pratchett adaptation, Jeremy will be playing the role of the Patrician.”

The Colour of Magic was adapted for the screen and directed by Vadim Jean (Hogfather, Leon the Pig Farmer) and produced by Rod Brown and Ian Sharples of the Mob Film Company. The drama will be shown in 2 x two hour parts over Easter weekend on Sky One and Sky One HD.

In anticipation of The Colour of Magic, a special one hour making of documentary will be screened on Sunday 16th March at 5pm. The Colour of Magic: From Page to Screen will go behind-the-scenes to show how the magical adventures of Rincewind and Twoflower were brought to life, featuring on-set reports, cast and crew interviews and preview clips.
